Our property is located 6 km from the center of Positano, in a panoramic hillside position offering wide, breathtaking views of the town and the crystal-clear sea.
It’s a peaceful setting, ideal for experiencing Positano at a slower pace—away from the hustle, yet still well connected.
The accommodations are accessed by walking down approximately 80 steps from our private parking area (a true luxury on the Amalfi Coast), where one parking spot is reserved per unit. We always recommend using a small car, better suited for the narrow local roads.
You can also reach the center of Positano without a car:
by local bus, with a stop just 50 meters from the property,
or by enjoying a scenic 30-minute walk through characteristic stairways, passing homes and gardens.
Within just a 10-minute walk, you’ll also find excellent local restaurants and a well-stocked minimarket for your daily needs.

HOW TO GET THERE
How to get to il Monticello – Holiday house:
TRAIN: From Naples you can take the train to Sorrento. From there, you can take Sita bus that will take you directly to Positano and then the local bus to the property.
FERRY: From Naples or Salerno you can take the ferry to the port of Positano. Once there, take the local bus to reach the property or take a taxi.
CAR: It is possible to arrive by car directly to our private parking, accessible with a small or medium-sized car.
PRIVATE TRANSFER: For a more convenient solution, we can organize a private transfer that will take you directly to the property (by charge).
